Symptom
Successfactors Restricted APIs are the ones created with internal use purpose and are not available to the public domain (e.g. customers and partners).
- Example: https://<host>/odata/v2/restricted/EmpEmployeeCalendar
Successfactors Beta APIs can be available to the public domain or not. The public ones are mentioned in the SF OData Guide and the non-public ones may be mentioned in our alternative channels as Confluence and Community.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
Resolution
Is not possible customers and partners use Restricted neither Beta non-public APIs.
Also, the official communications may not be made public as they are for public APIs.
If you really like some Beta non-public, our advice is to create an enhancement request via Influence channel, so the Engineering can consider include this in future SuccessFactors releases (refer to KBA 2090228 - How to Submit Ideas for SAP SuccessFactors Products).
For further implementation recommendations, you should speak with your Account Executive (CSM) about Professional Services options or about engaging an SAP Authorized Partner (refer to KBA 2149831).
