Symptom

  • Image within report, viewed in Crystal Reports Viewer in custom .NET Web application has one of the following errors:
    • Blank image
    • Black box with a white X in it, and black border around
  • KBA 1720670 and 1311932 about adding a resourceURI key didn't resolve the issue
