3328899 - Service Agent name is missing in the dropdown list for Requester/Recipient field in stand-alone Purchase Order


Service agent is missing in the dropdown for selection under Requester/Recipient field in stand-alone purchase order however

if purchase order is created from shopping cart, service agent details are populated from cart to order.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Home work center
  2. Select Self services overview
  3. Select Go Shopping (advanced)
  4. Create a shopping cart with service agent as requester/recipient and release the cart-> purchase request is created
  5. Create purchase order from the purchase request
  6. Go to Items tab
  7. Under Delivery subtab, you will see that the fields Requester and Recipient are filled with service agent name.
  8. Now Go to Purchase Requests and Orders work center
  9. Create New Purchase Order under Common tasks
  10. Navigate to items->delivery sub-tab, search for the service agent name in the fields Requester and Recipient, the name is missing in the drop-down
  11. The system will display "no records found"


Service agent is excluded from query as system expects that service agent should be someone who is actually processing the purchase request or purchase order which cannot be a Requester/recipient for delivery. Hence, it is not displayed in the drop-down list.


You can always manually add service agent in the Requester/recipient field in purchase order. If you enter the service agent's ID in the field manually, it will populate the name.
