3328980 - Error when sending Request For Quotation: "Requested Tender fee is mandatory"

Symptom

An error message is displayed during the process of sending the Request for Quotation to bidders.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Sourcing and Contracting work center
  2. Go to Requests for Quotation view
  3. Select the relevant Requests for Quotation
  4. Select Edit and Go to General tab
  5. Choose on Send to Bidders

Error appears: "Request Tender fee is mandatory".

Cause

  1. The “Tender Fees Required” checkbox was selected.
  2. When this checkbox is selected, the “Requested Tender Fees” field must be filled.
  3. The error occurred because the “Requested Tender Fees” field was left empty.

Resolution

This is the expected system behavior.
