3329255 - Error Occurs When Filling Out G/L Account Hierarchy in App “Accounts Document Output - China”

Symptom

You click Execute in the app Accounts Document Output - China. The following error message is displayed: "Chart of Accounts for G/L Account Hier. is not the same as Co. Code XXXX".

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the app Accounts Document Output - China.
  2. Fill out the mandatory fields and the Display G/L Account Hierarchy field in the selection criteria.
  3. Click Execute. The following error message is displayed: "Chart of Accounts for G/L Account Hier. is not the same as Co. Code XXXX".

Cause

The chart of accounts for the G/L Account Hierarchy ID is different from that assigned to the company code.

Resolution

Make sure the chart of accounts for the G/L Account Hierarchy ID is the same as that within the company code.
