3329398 - Saving an RFx template document without purchasing org and group in SAP SRM is not possible

Symptom

An RFx document template cannot be saved without purchasing group and purchasing organization in SAP SRM.

The following error messages might appear during save or publish action:

  • Organizational unit 00000000 is not a purchasing group
  • Purchasing group O is not assigned to purchasing organization O
  • Organizational unit O is not permitted as purchasing organization
  • Organization O is not a purchasing group; inform system administration
