Reproducing the Issue

  1. Configure an Off Cycle Event Batch in Manage Data
  2. Configure a rule trace to get the logs of the job (2257064)
  3. Run the Offcycle Event Batch Processing Job in Provisioning
  4. Download the Rule Trace and the status of the job on Scheduled Job Manager
  5. See that the rule successfully set the values, but the record was not created in the user's profile.

One field updated by the rule was not configured correctly.

To understand why the off cycle is not updating the record for the affected user, try to make a job history incremental load import on Import Employee Data and add the same information that should be updated by the rule. If there are any configuration issues, the import validation will highlight them, and you can configure the field accordingly.

For example: during the import, system threw a validation saying that the Pay Scale Level field had an invalid maximum length. By checking the configuration of the field in Manage Business Configuration and increasing the maximum length, the Off Cycle updated the data as expected.
