3329517 - Error "Creation Failed" when creating SAP Datasphere tenant in BTP Cockpit

Symptom

Creating SAP Datasphere tenant instance in SAP BTP Cockpit, the creation fails with some possible errors:

  • failed polling operation for instance with id xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx and name xxxxxx due to polling last operation error: Error: "Error calling TMS:{\"timestamp\":\"2000-00-00T00:00:00.000+00:00\",\"status\":401,\"error\":\"Unauthorized\",\"path\":\"/api/tenants\"}";

  • failed polling operation for instance with id xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx and name xxxxxxxxx due to polling last operation error: TMS workflow: xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx, ctp log: xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx

  • Couldn't create service instance 'instance_name'. Please try again. If the problem persists, open a support case.
    Creation Failed: TMS workflow: xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx, ctp log: xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
