3329518 - No Access to Newly Provisioned SuccessFactors Learning Tenant

Symptom

When a new SuccessFactors Learning tenant is created, an email notification is sent to the IT Contact on the purchase order with initial login details of the SFADMIN account to log in to HCM. The SFADMIN account is utilized to access Learning Administration from HCM to start implementing. What is the process if the email with the credentials is lost or not received?

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Learning
  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Resolution

Note: SAP cannot resend the initial provisioning email.

To regain access if SFADMIN credentials are not known:

  1. Contact the implementation Partner or SAP Support and reference KBA 2186617. Please make sure to provide all necessary information that is outlined in the article.
  2. Once access has been provided with the new Super Admin account, grant Role Based Permissions as per KBA 2344584.
  3. Once proper permissions have been provided, reset the password for SFADMIN by following these steps.
  4. Log in with the SFADMIN account and Learning Administration access is now available.

IMPORTANT: Ensure that you use UPPERCASE for SFADMIN and not lowercase. It must be UPPERCASE on both the bizx and LMS side.
