Linux instance provide a unique Machine ID in:
/etc/machine-id
and depending on distributions also in:
/var/lib/dbus/machine-id
/var/lib/zypp/AnonymousUniqueId
In some cases, it may be necessary to change or reset the Machine ID, and information is needed if it affects SAP software.
