3330169 - "The export failed because we ran into unexpected issues" is displayed when trying to Export Story

Symptom

When exporting Story from SuccessFactors Report Center, an error "the export failed because we ran into unexpected issues" is displayed.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
    • Analytics & Reporting (Ad Hoc, YouCalc, ORD)
      • Story Reporting

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to SuccessFactors
  2. Navigate to Report Center
  3. Select any Story Report
  4. Click 'Export'
  5. An error appears "the export failed because we ran into unexpected issues"

Cause

If the SAC tenant memory limit, of 300 MB, is reached then Exports will fail. 

Resolution

Please file a Case with Support.
