3330340 - No error is returned when an object name and/or code is null - SAP PD

Symptom

  • In PD Desktop, if name or code or name and code are removed, an error message is displayed:
         Name or Code "cannot be null."
  • In PD Desktop, it is also not possible to create an object with same name:
         "That name already exists!"
  • In PD Web, no warning/error message is displayed when the name, code, or both the name and code are removed.
    Model can be saved and published.
  • In PD Web, it is possible to create an object with same name.
