3330490 - Getting error 702 on a query performing a 6 way self join against a view with a union - SAP ASE

Symptom

    • Running a select query with a 6-way self-join referencing a view which has a union clause.
    • The query fails with error 702:
      Error: 702, Severity: 20, State:1
      Memory request for 16514 bytes exceeds the size of single page of 16384 bytes.
         
    • Along with a stack trace which included following modules:
