3330526 - How to set up SMTP in Kibana - Not able to access properties in the Opensearch keystore

Symptom

While following Monitors to set up SMTP(Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) in OpenSearch, it is not possible to access the below properties in the Opensearch keystore:

  • plugins.alerting.destination.email.<sender_name>.username
  • plugins.alerting.destination.email.<sender_name>.password
