Symptom
With H1 2021, the deprecation of Arrow-Based Pay Statement Integration and with H2 2023, the deprecation of the Pay Statement (Fiori-like) integration for SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll and SAP HCM Payroll integration has been announced. With H1 2022, Pay Statement (Fiori-like) integration reached end of maintenance, and by H2 2024 it is deactivated. With H1 2024, Arrow-based Pay Statement integration reached end of maintenance, and by H2 2024 it is deactivated.
With H2 2024 release, trying to save any new Payroll System Configuration with payslip service 1 and/or 10, or changing anything in existing Payroll System Configuration / Payroll Unified Configuration (e.g. adding a mashup) and payslip service 1 an /or 10 is enabled there, the error message “This pay statement integration option is now deprecated. Please migrate to the solution recommended in KBA-3330798” will be displayed and it won´t be possible to save the configuration.
However, as long as payslip service 1 and/or 10 is enabled, end users (employees, admins) can access their pay statements as usual.
Note: final deletion of the services and the corresponding APIs is planned in 1H 2026, hence, please move to the recommended pay statement option as soon as possible
