When running Settlement for a Investment Project, the WBS childs are not being settled.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud
Cause
Missing configuration. Once a settlement rule is maintained for a settlement element, it is possible to pass-down the settlement rule to its subtree through Generate Settlement Rule application. It will reduce the effort of manual maintenance of settlement rules for each WBS element in the subtree.
Resolution
In order to allow the settlement of the WBS Elements childs within the Investment Project, you must first select the Pass-Down Settlement Rule checkbox while creating a project header or WBS element. You should also select the 'With Pass-Down Option' in General Information -> Settlement Rule Maintenance in the Project.
