3331705 - Error SG111 "Maintain translation ratios for & / & (exchange rate type &)" in app Currency Exchange Rates - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

Error SG111 occurs when trying to maintain exchange rate in app Currency Exchange Rates. The rate shows as 0:0.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open app Currency Exchange Rates.
  2. Choose Create
  3. Maintain exchange rate with relevant currencies.

Cause

Translation ratio is not maintained in SSCUI 102568 "Define Translation Ratios for Currency Translation".

Resolution

To get the currency conversion running, add a translation ratio for the currency pairs in SSCUI 102568 "Define Translation Ratios for Currency Translation".

Note: in order to maintain the exchange rate, the translation ratio has to be defined in both directions.
