Symptom
A new "Forgot Password" E-Mail template has been created by copying from the default template and making the required changes, however:
- The user is not receiving the E-Mail to reset the password.
- In the troubleshooting logs the following error is found:
"Parsing and replacing in template went wrong. Email template set: 406f71c1-b7c0-430a-a31e-d215b226f7d7. Email resource type: RESOURCE_MAILING_FORGOT_PWThe following has evaluated to null or missing:
"Error executing FreeMarker templatefreemarker.core.InvalidReferenceException: The following has evaluated to null or missing:
state="failed", action="login", objectType="user", cause="userChallenged", category="audit.authentication", credentialType="{CERT=rejected,TOKEN=rejected,UID_PW=challenge,REMEMBERME_COOKIE=challenge}"
