3332045 - SAP Cloud Print Manager - (error: You do not have start authorization for R3TR IWSV API_CLOUD_PRINT_PULL_SRV)

Symptom

While setting up the Cloud Print Manager (CPM), after clicking "Test Connection" one of the following error is returned:

  • You do not have start authorization for R3TR IWSV API_CLOUD_PRINT_PULL_SRV
  • No authorization to access Service 'API_CLOUD_PRINT_PULL_SRV_XXXX

In the CPM for PI log files one of the ERROR below is shown:

Environment

  • SAP S/4 HANA CLOUD
  • SAP Cloud Print Manager

Cause

Some Business Roles are missing for the user.

Resolution

According to the SAP Help Extend and Integrate Your SAP S/4HANA Cloud, these are the following needed Business Roles:

  • Communication Management (SAP_CORE_BC_COM)

  • Output Management (SAP_CORE_BC_OM_PRINT)

For this reason please obtain these Business Roles for your user
