3332553 - createMembers/getMember APIs in app design takes more time when DAC is activated

The getmember API returns 'undefined' when the request is made in the code immediately after the createMembers API, it will take a while before being able to get the newly created member, but this process is quick when DAC is switched off.

SAP Analytics Cloud

Fetch the newly created member using the getmember API immediately after the createMembers API.

When DAC is activated the DAC updates in background as a Job. When the Job is finished, then the user has access to the newly created member, only then is the new member accessible.

This is currently a designed behavior. You can consider using Model Privacy to secure the data instead of DAC.
