3332856 - Shadow instance fails to start in phase MAIN_SHDPREPUT/START_SHDI_PREPUT

Symptom

Software Update Manager (SUM) is not able to start the shadow instance in phase MAIN_SHDPREPUT/START_SHDI_PREPUT.

SAPup.ECO :

sapcontrol commands are working fine while executing manually.
You have checked the KBA 1903632 - sapcontrol - "CreateFile failed in plugin_pipefopen()" error occurs sporadically but is not applicable as IPV6 is not active in the system and no antivirus installed.
