3333371 - Client Certificate Header Authentication for SuccessFactors hosted Atom Clouds

We have introduced a new type of authentication for SuccessFactors hosted Atom Clouds called Client Certificate Header.

As of now, this has been introduced in SF Boomi EU Frankfurt CC Prod Cloud DC33 and SF Boomi EU Frankfurt CC Stage Cloud DC33.

This authentication type will be made available in all other clouds which have Client Certificate authentication already available.

SAP Successfactors hosted Boomi Atom Clouds

• The very first thing to consider it to check if you DC has the certificate authentication available, in case you DC does not have please take into consideration that we require a minimum of 3 months window to implement this so you need to request this in advance, you can see if you DC has it in the KBA below.

• Client Certificate Header has been enabled on port 8443.
• Please ensure that the authentication type as specified below, and your public certificate has been selected in Shared Web Server settings.

1. Selecting the correct authentication type: Please note that the first option for Client Certificate in below screenshot refers to Client Certificate authentication, while the second option (enclosed in a red rectangle) refers to Client Certificate Header. This is a known bug, and we have an open case with Boomi support.
   

2. IP Filtering: IP filtering is available when using Client Certificate Header authentication. If you wish to use IP filtering and do not wish to use basic authentication, Client Certificate Header is the only option available on SF hosted Atom Clouds.
