3333524 - Output Documents Show Dates in Different Date Format, One Invoice Shows "DD MM YYYY" and Another Invoice Shows "MM DD, YYYY"

You are aware of the different date formats used in the invoice output documents.

In one invoice, the date shows in the format "DDMMYYYY", for example 14 May 2023. While, in another invoice, the date shows in the format "MMDD,YYYY", for example May 14, 2023.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Customer Invoicing work center.
2. Go to the Invoice Documents view.
3. Open the invoice ABC and XYZ, go to Output History tab, open the generated PDF.
4. You find invoice dates are shown in different format. In invoice ABC, the date is shown as 14 May 2023. In invoice XYZ, the date shows as May 14, 2023.

The date format is determined based on the account country.

In this case, invoice ABC is with account in country ZA - South Africa, the date format is DDMMYYYY.

Invoice XYZ is with account in country MY - Malaysia, the date format is MMDD,YYYY.

This is the pre-configured format and designed behavior.
