3333577 - Status Email Notifications not sent to referrers for certain statuses - Recruiting Management

This article describes the limitation with employee referral status emails for disqualified or dispositioned candidates.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

a. Status emails for candidate referrer is correctly setup in the Edit Applicant Status Configuration. 

b. However, despite the proper settings, no emails were sent to the referrers when the candidates are moved to any disqualified status. 

Note: The disqualified statuses being referred here are statuses created from Provisioning with Type = Disqualified, not just a status with a disqualified label. Although, statuses with disqualified labels are usually setup with Type = Disqualified already, so this is not usually a problem.

Statuses with type disqualified will be shown under the Disqualified Statuses section in Edit Applicant Status Config, regardless of the Category value. You may reach out to Support or to your partner if you have a status that does not follow this behavior. 

This is expected behavior. 

This is a confirmed limitation. The status emails for referrers will work for In Progress statuses but not for Disqualified or Dispositioned statuses.

The dispositioned statuses being the following:

Emails are not triggered to Referrers when the applied candidate moves to the following system moved statuses :

1) Requisition Closed.

2) Withdrawn By Candidate.

3) Deleted On Demand By Candidate.

4) Deleted On Demand By Admin.

5) Declined DPCS.
