3333863 - How to add new entries on Maintain Tax Relevance for Customers/Materials

Symptom

Add new tax classifications on SSCUI 106589 Maintain Tax Relevance for Customers or SSCUI 106590 Maintain Tax Relevance for Materials.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

This is standard system behavior, it is not possible to add a new Tax Category on SSCUI 106589 - Maintain Tax Relevance for Customers or SSCUI 106590 Maintain Tax Relevance for Materials.

Resolution

In S/4HANA Cloud is not possible to create a new Tax Classifications for Tax Condition Type in SSCUI 106589/106590, customer can only edit the Descriptions.

As a workaround, there is an option to create an own access sequence and assign the new one to condition type.

With this configuration, it is possible to create different tax condition records depending on the access fields.
