Symptom

Customer would like to know how to add new tax classifications on SSCUI 102510 Maintain Tax Relevance for Customers.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Cause

This is standard system behavior, it is not possible to add a new Tax Category on SSCUI 102510 - Maintain Tax Relevance for Customers. 

Resolution

In S/4HANA Cloud is not possible to create a new Tax Classifications for Tax Condition Type in SSCUI 102510, customer can only edit the Descriptions. 

Please, kindly open an Influence request: 

  1. Get started by opening SAP Customer Influence.
  2. Register and accept the Terms of Use.
  3. Choose a session of your interest.
  4. Create and submit your improvement request.
  5. Take a look at existing improvement requests and start voting and commenting.

As a workaround, customers can create an own access sequence and assign the new one to condition type.

With this configuration, it is possible to create different tax condition records depending on the access fields.
