3334094 - The result filed is grayed when you make the result recording for a quantitative characteristic

You want to record the result for a quantitative inspection characteristic in result recording apps such as Record Inspection Results - For Operation and Record Inspection Results.
However, the result field is grayed and you cannot record the measured values for the chatacteristic.

SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud

The  cause of the issue is that the control indicator "Record Measured Vals" is not set for the characteristics.
The definition of the indicator is:
If you set this indicator, measured values for this quantitative characteristic have to be inspected and confirmed.
From this, you can see that you must set it if you want to record the measured values for the characteristic.

Please maintain the "Record Measured Vals" accordingly. You can reach it in the second screen (after clicking continue) of the control indicators.
Please note that the change will not affect the existing inspection lots.
