3334865 - Change to the 'Relevancy to Costing' field is not considered in Maintain Bill of Material Fiori app

1. While creating a new BOM in Maintain Bill of Material Fiori App, Relevancy to Costing indicator for a component is not set according to customizing in OS21
2. Or if a change is performed on the Relevancy to Costing field:
   1. after saving the change is ignored,
   2. or other components are changed too. 

• SAP S/4HANA Cloud
• Master Data

1. Open Fiori App Maintain Bill Of Material (F1813)
2. Choose Create BOM
3. Enter material and necessary data
4. Press OK
5. Enter a Component 
6. Check Item details by pressing the arrow on the right
7. Check Tab Status/Long Text – Field Relevancy to Costing

 

The value of the field differs from the customizing setup in transaction OS21.

Or if a change is performed on the field after saving it, the change is undone, or other components are changed too.

 Program error.

Check the usage of the affected BOM.

Check the relevant usage in the below transactions:

OS20 -> relevancy to costing -> can be maintained in costing (optional)

OS21 -> Indicator for Relevancy to Costing = X

If the above configuration is set, then the Relevancy to Costing should be defaulted from OS21, and should be changeable.
