3335257 - Employee profile header quick links toolbar has navigation arrows that are shaded

Symptom

Following the 1H2023 release, the employee profile header quick links toolbar has navigation arrows that are shaded.

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Reproducing the Issue

Go to the employee profile of a user
Initially this shaded arrow will appear on the right side of the toolbar, however, it will only appear depending on the amount of headers as this arrow is for navigation.
If the arrow is present if you use it to navigate it to the left, it will appear on the right side.

Cause

This is expected behavior due to the Horizon theme being enabled by default as part of the 1H2023 release

Resolution

Customers can verify this by:

Go to Admin Center -> Company System and Logo Settings.
Disable Enable Horizon Visual Theme.

If you would like to keep the Horizon theme and simply change the shading, you can do so in Theme Manager:

Theme Manager > Portlets > Header Background Color
