Symptom

According to the official document simple search operator enhancement, since Commerce cloud 2205 when flexible search is used for simple search, the simple search operator can be configured by type code (including contains, startWith, equals, and endWith) in Backoffice. The default search operator is contains for simple search.

You can change the search operator of simple search through the following properties:

backoffice.flexible.search.comparison.operator.startswith.types=
backoffice.flexible.search.comparison.operator.endswith.types=
backoffice.flexible.search.comparison.operator.equals.types=

The purpose of this kBA to demonstrate how these properties works.
