3335637 - Installation of SAP HANA XS Advanced Runtime stucks in adding the role xs_worker

Tried to install SAP HANA XS Advanced Runtime in a system replication scenario as per SAP Note 2300936 - Host Auto-Failover & System Replication Setup with SAP HANA extended application services, advanced model
 
On primary system the installation worked fine, but on the secondary system the installation get stuck in the step adding role xs_worker.
 
According KBA 2564474, the filesystems are mounted correctly and the replication was stopped before the installation as described in sap help disable SAP HANA Replication with dbsnsutil.
