3335713 - customPayType field in Payment Information Details import template changed: 1H 2023

Before Release Payment Info Details import template had the field custom pay type as “toPaymentInformationDetailV3.customPayType.standardPayType”; however after the release it’s changed to “toPaymentInformationDetailV3.customPayType.externalCode”.

1. Download the import template of Payment information details.
2. Please find the change in the field Parameter toPaymentInformationDetailV3.customPayType.standardPayType (before release).
3. Please find the change in the field parameter toPaymentInformationDetailV3.customPayType.externalCode (after release).         

• The business key change to the custom pay type is universal to all customers
  
  
• This change won't impact EC-> ECP integration, hence, their payroll calculation won't be impacted. For those customers who are using downloaded templates to import the data back to EC, then this template is required to update by downloading the latest template.

• The change to the custom pay type with the field standardPayType removed from the business key is the designed behavior to support additional pay types, this change is mentioned in WNV: Additional Pay Types for Payment Information

• If existing integrations are impacted, customers should manually correct them. If imports are impacted, customer should download fresh template from their instance.
