3336576 - Verify IAS Settings for Story Reports Using Check Tool

Symptom

• Use the Check Tool to verify that Identity Authentication Service (IAS) settings are configured correctly for Story reports.

 • The Check Tool assists in identifying misconfigurations that may result in issues such as blank loading screens when creating, editing, or running a Story report.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
    • Analytics & Reporting  (Ad Hoc, YouCalc, ORD)
      • Story Report
        • IAS configurations

Resolution

With 2311 release, a new Check is introduced in Check Tool which will help verify if 6 settings of IAS are rightly configured. If any of these settings are incorrectly configured, it could lead to blank loading screen when Creating/Editing/Running a Story.

To run this check,

  1. Navigate to Check Tool
  2. Under ‘System Health’ tab, set filter on Application ‘Reporting’
  3. Click ‘Go’
  4. You will find “Identity Authentication and Identity Provisioning settings are properly configured for Story report. (SACTenantConfigurationCheckTool)” 
    Note: If not visible, remove the filters on "Result Type"
  5. Select the ‘Check box’ and click ‘Run 1 Check’
