3336850 - The Error Message "Price and Tax Calculation Not Possible" is Triggered in a Customer Return

The Error Message Price and tax calculation not possible occurs in customer return and Price Components are not available in pricing tab.

1. Go to the Sales Order work center.
2. Go to the Returns view.
3. Select and Edit Customer Return XYZ (XYZ represents the identification of the customer return).

The following error message is triggered: Price and Tax Calculation Not Possible

 Due to an inconsistency the price information was not passed successfully from the sales document and invoice to the customer return.

The issue can be resolved by performing the following work around as a dummy change in return:

1. Go to the Sales Order work center.
2. Go to the Returns view.
3. Select and Edit Customer Return XYZ.
4. Navigate to the General tab.
5. Select the Value help in the Field Sales Unit.
6. Select any Sales Unit apart from the one which was selected earlier.
7. Select the Value help in the Field Sales Unit again
8. Select the original Sales Unit which you want to select for this return.

You can see that the Price Components are available in pricing tab now and error is cleared.
