No authorization for cost center XXXXX in controlling area &&&&.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Migrate Your Data app
  2. Go to the migration project
  3. Choose "PM- Equipment" migration object
  4. Error message "No authorization for cost center" occurs in simulation or migration phase

Resolution

Standard business role SAP_BR_MAINTENANCE_PLANNER is needed for creation PM- Equipment data. Please assign the standard business role to your user.
