3337087 - Data Actions and Multi-actions Integration into File Repository

After the 2023 QRC 2 update (2023.8.7 and higher), data actions and multi actions have moved to the file repository in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

• There may be some teams and permissions that require updating and may cause existing data actions and multi actions to fail.
  For example:

• • The multi action <> has failed because of the following issues in one of the steps <>
  • This data action is not available because either you do not have permission to read it or because it has been deleted...
  • The Data Action monitor has data actions that go into a pending status and need to be cancelled manually.
    
    
• You may also notice a bunch of teams got created by the system. If you check the name and the content of these teams, you will find these teams are related to data actions & multi actions.

This is a new feature.

Regarding the teams got created by the system, this is as designed.
Upon migration, a new team is created per role with the hitherto assigned permissions for each individual DA/MA to retain the current existing access. This is done only for roles with at least 2 assigned individual users.

Frequently asked questions and answers:

1. Q: Can the customers delete all the new data action and multi action teams that SAP has created and manage data/multi action folder/files access with their own custom teams?
   A: The teams have been created by the system to ensure the same behavior before File Repository integration feature. Proper custom managing is also fine. 
2. Q: With future upgrades, will those data action and multi action teams be recreated again automatically? 
   A: No. After the successful migration of this feature in this QRC release, the migration Flag is True and there will be no more migration and no team creation in the later releases.
