3337092 - CDS Views I_ChangeDocument_2, I_ChangeDocument and I_ChangeDocumentItem are not released

Symptom

The following CDS Views have not been released, however there is a requirement to use them for custom CDS views and analytical queries. 

  • I_ChangeDocument_2
  • I_ChangeDocument
  • I_ChangeDocumentItem

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

Check the release status of following CDS Views: 

  • I_ChangeDocument_2
  • I_ChangeDocument
  • I_ChangeDocumentItem

Cause

The views I_ChangeDocument_2, I_ChangeDocument, I_ChangeDocumentItem are technical views which only used internally and it is not planned to release them.

Resolution

If there is a requirement to use them, consider to use CDS views from applications that may exist to display change documents for their change document objects. 

If there is a requirement to access and analyze all change documents at once and directly, consider to use the function modules within a report.
