3337371 - Authentication fails in Microsoft Office 365 Open connector when using Azure Active Directory

Symptom

Microsoft Office 365 Open Connector is used to connect to an MS Office 365 app. For authenticating the MS Office 365 instance a Microsoft Azure Active Directory is used, but the following error is received:

Application '{appId}'({appName}) is not configured as a multi-tenant application. Usage of the /common endpoint is not supported for such applications created after '{time}'. Use a tenant-specific endpoint or configure the application to be multi-tenant.
