Symptom

Group Reporting apps are not available, error "Function not supported in EC-CS Consolidation" occurs although Group Reporting is active, this means

  • there was no EC-CS usage in the current client,
  • either Best Practice scope item XX_1SG_OP has been activated
  • or configuration step SAP S/4HANA for Group Reporting > Global Settings for Consolidation > Initialize Settings was run to get the basic settings for Group Reporting.
