3337913 - "No authorization for object" error message when opening a Custom Tile that is pointing to a Custom Analytical Query.

• You've created a Custom Tile pointing to a Custom Analytical Query but you're not able to launch the Custom Application successfully.
• You're getting the error message "500 Internal Server Error - CX_RS_NOT_AUTHORIZED No authorization for object (authorization object)" when opening the Custom Tile.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

1. Go to Fiori Launchpad
2. Open the Custom Tile
3. Error message will be raised

The relevant authorization objects are not generated properly for the users because the Custom Tile is pointing to a Custom Analytical Query inside SAP S/4HANA Cloud. This means that the Custom Tile is pointing to an internal and static domain, which is not the purpose of the appication.

The Custom Tile app is intended to create your own tiles to access any external application. See SAP Help Portal | Custom Tiles for more information.

In SAP S/4HANA Cloud there's a functionality that allows you to create an application directly from a Custom Analytical Query. Please follow the steps below to create the application:

1. Go to View Browser app
2. Search for the Custom Analytical Query 
3. Click on the checkbox to select the Query
4. Click on "Create Application" button
5. A pop-up will appear to maintain application’s Title and Subtitle in specific language. Add the desired names in required languages and save the changes.
6. Application will be created and application ID will be generated. Click on application ID and click on view in Catalog.
7. It will open Custom Catalog Extensions app where you can assign your application in required Business Catalogs. Click on Add button to add the catalogs.
8. Search and select the required catalogs and Publish the changes.
9. Once app is published it would be available in the catalog(s) and good to be used.
