3337974 - Period Control Method for Asset Revaluation does not calculate depreciation for entire year but rather 11 months

Symptom

Posted revaluation with asset value date of Jan 1, 2023 and assigned period control method in the depreciation key to calculate depreciation from the beginning of the year: yet the system only calculates depreciation for the new revaluation for 11 periods instead of the expected 12. Why is this so?
