Symptom
- You have done a change in an application using "Adapt UI".
- You have published the change in the application.
- You want to include that change in a software collection.
- You cannot find this change in any software collection
- The UI change can be seen in the customizing tenant but it is not reflected in test/prod tenant (3SL).
- The UI change can be seen in the Q-system but it is not reflected in the P-system (2SL).
Environment
S/4HANA Cloud
Cause
It is very likely the UI Flexibility Change has not been transported yet and/or it is included in a different software collection already.
Resolution
"UI Flexibility Changes" items are usually saved with suffix "YY1_" + "SAP UI5 Component" + ".Component"
Taking Plan Internal Projects as an example, you can check the SAP UI5 Component in the Fiori Apps Reference Library, under IMPLEMENTATION INFORMATION > Configuration > SAPUI5 Application > "SAP UI5 Component" column.
In this case, the SAP UI5 Component is cus.cpm.internalproject.maint.
Hence, the UI5 Flexibility Change will be recorded as YY1_cus.cpm.internalproject.maint.Component of type "UI Flexibility Variants and Changes".
You can use the Extensibility Inventory app in the customizing tenant(3SL) or Q-system(2SL) to find out in which collection the change is included, if it was already transported and when it was the last time that was transported.
In the Extensibility Inventory app, you can either search by the SAP UI5 Component(cus.cpm.internalproject.maint), the full item name(YY1_cus.cpm.internalproject.maint.Component) or the app name(Plan Internal Projects).
When you navigate to the item, you will see the CHANGE HISTORY" tab where you will be able to find the software collection and versions where the item was included, the status of the item, who has changed it and when.
