3338522 - Connecting SAC as Data Source for Catalog fails due Error "The UUID couldn't be verified"

Symptom

When creating a Catalog connection to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), error occurs:
The UUID couldn't be verified. You can find the UUID in the About dialog of the system you're trying to connect to.
