Symptom

When trying to log in using Single Sign-On the following error is displayed:

No user found with alias <userID>' (format: unspecified)

Reproducing the Issue

Try to log in using SSO
Error appears

Cause

This error typically occurs when the Business User information stored in the Identity Provider (IDP) does not match the user information maintained in SAP Business ByDesign

Resolution

Verify the information in the Identity Provider (IDP) and confirm that it matches the information maintained in SAP Business ByDesign.
