As of b2305 release, it is noticed the leave icon has been changed to a smiling sun like below.
But it is expected to have some more neutral icon, because such an icon does not seem proper for leave types like sickness, Compassionate leave, etc.
Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Resolution
We understand the requirement and it is planned to use a more generic calendar icon for Absence in Time Sheet UI tentatively from future release.
The icon is still being worked on now.
