3340319 - Not enough single result lines are expanded when recording the inspection results for the a single result characteristic (message QE208 shows up)

You are trying to record results for a single result inspection characteristic in results recording apps, such as Process Inspection Lots - Worklist (QA32) or Record Inspection Results - For Operation (QE01). However, not all single result lines are expanded for you to input the value. For example, if the characteristic has a sample size of 10, only 4 lines are expanded. In the meanwhile, message QE208 will show up in the bottom of the screen.

SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud

1. Open the relevant result recording app.
2. Select the inspection lot and enter the result recording screen.
3. Select a characteristic with a large sample size. Expand the rows for single values.
4. Not enough rows are expanded. Message QE208 shows up.

This is the standard system behavior due to the limitation of chracteristics overview screen of results recording.

As you can see in the details of the message QE208, the sample size of the characteristic cannot be inspected using the available single result lines. You should record further single results on the characteristic single screen by double-clicking into the characteristic. There, you can see all the single result lines.
