3340671 - No G/L Accounts Available for Selection for Credit for Internal Services and Debit for Internal Services

No G/L Accounts show up for selection for Costs subledger --> Service tab --> Credit for Internal Services and Debit for Internal Services columns.

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Overview view.
3. Search and open Charts of Accounts, Financial Reporting Structures, Account Determination activity.
4. Open Costs subledger.
5. Open Service tab.
6. For Credit for Internal Services and Debit for Internal Services columns, click the dropdown arrow to show the available G/L Accounts and notice the message 'No items found'.

Remark:

If you type any G/L Account and hit enter, system will throw the error:

'AAA is not a valid value for this field. Enter a valid value.'

AAA means the G/L Account ID.

Only G/L Accounts of type CSTGEN - Allocated costs are allowed for Credit for Internal Services and Debit for Internal Service. Since there's no G/L Account defined in the system with G/L Account Type Allocated costs, the issue happens.

Maintain the required CSTGEN - Allocated costs G/L Accounts in Chart of Accounts, then you can complete the account determination for Costs --> Service --> Credit for Internal Services and Debit for Internal Service.
