-
- The time slot start date is invalid.
-
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to an item and select Actions > Schedule
- Select calendar icon next to the Start Date
- Notice that some or all months' name have a dot (.) at their end
- Select any date
- Validation error is received
Cause
According to LMS Engineering, Month names ending with dot are not supported in the LMS application and an admin with any date format having 'MMM' in it can receive this validation error when using the calendar to pick a date.
Resolution
Please go to References > Manage Labels > Labels > search for label ID label.CalendarSMonths > open it in Edit mode > Locales tab > search for all locales > check to see that many or some of the months listed there contain a dot (.). For example:
- September should be listed there as "sept" or "Sept" and not as "sept." or "Sept."
- If one or more months contain a dot please delete the dot from all of them and "Apply Changes"
After this, the calendar date selector should work and not trigger a validation error anymore.
Please Note: It is expected that the BizX and LMS Language should be in sync, if the issue is occurring while these are not in sync please correct this and then test again. Engineering will not investigate this issue if the BizX and LMS languages are not matching as this is expected.
