3341371 - Error message GK872 : No number ranges/Auot reversal for document type && in SSCUI 104665 Define Document Types

Symptom

When you create a new document type in SSCUI 104665 Define Document Types, you get an error message: No number ranges/Auto reversal for document type &&.

Reproducing the Issue

1. Open SSCUI 104665 Define Document types

2. Create a new document type ZZ

3. Click "Save"

Cause

No number ranges have been defined, nor has the automatic reversal flag been selected for document type ZZ in dimension Y1. Every document type must have at least one of these entries.

Resolution

Please maintain number range for used versions in tab Number Ranges/Auto Reversal.
