3341551 - Commodity Code is not displayed on Billing Document Form Template - S/4HANA Cloud

CommodityCode item information is missing on Billing Document XML

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Go to Billing Document Output requests

2. Check Output XML (define Print Queue: #&&DOWNLOAD_FORM_DATA&&## and Display Document), <CommodityCode> node is empty.

Commodity Code information comes from Delivery Item information, the first step is to make sure that information is maintained on item level of the Delivery Document.

In case information is not maintained on item level of the Delivery Document, you should check Commodity Code settings. Proceed with the settings on:

1. Manage Commodity Codes app.

2. Configuration Activity (Central Business Configuration or Manage Your Solution): Assign Numbering Scheme for Commodity Codes to Country/Region.

After proceeding with Commodity Code settings, re create Outbound Delivery and check at Item level, on International Trade tab, Commodity Code field automatically filled. Create the Billing Document and check Output Item xml. <CommodityCode> has now the updated value.
