3341644 - Position Matrix Relationship Sync not propagating to future record on Job Relationship Portlet - Employee Central

Symptom

A relationship is updated between two different effective dated records and the information was not forwarded propagated to the future record.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Update a Position with a user in a Matrix Relationship
  2. Go to the Employee Profile of the user updated
  3. Go to the Job Relationship portlet
  4. See that the sync occurred
  5. See that the updated information was not forwarded propagated to the future record

Cause

The job relationships will not forward propagate if record was inserted in the middle of two different record.

This scenario is not eligible for forward propagation.

Resolution

The future record have to be updated manually or the record on Position should be on or after the last record on the Job Relationships portlet.
